A 113KM JOURNEY

This project is an investigation of human biological limits. I am using the Ironman 70.3—a 1.9km swim, 90km cycle, and 21.1km run, since is a been a dream to complete this distance. This platform serves as the transition from childhood inspiration to a structured, evidence-based reality.

Understanding limits

I viewed the completing Ironman 70.3 as physically impossible, mostly because of my lack of ability in running. Now my view point changed. This project documents my journey to redefine and understand my own limits, applying elements of strict sports science to prove that discipline can conquer biological fatigue.

The Barrier

Science provides the plan, but discipline provides the finish. Throughout this 113km journey, I discovered that the only person who can truly stop you from achieving the impossible is yourself.

The IB Personal Project

I previously held a significant barrier regarding running, as past failures made the 113km distance feel physically impossible. The IB Personal Project challenged me to become a Risk-Taker, facing past experience to replace fear with evidence-based training. This project was the chance to finally start running and redefine my biological limits.
